Hand-stitched Native American Red Fancy Shawl Dancer key chain. Each hand stitched keychain features a representation of a type of dancer you might see at a powwow. This one is of a fast and fancy shawl dancer.
Our hand-stitched keychains are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our keychains are backed with a layer of recycled plastic and finished with leather for durability.

About the artist:
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
